Volume Two of Naruto is what, in my oppinion, made the present a masterpiece. The character deatil shown here is some of the most gripping in any anime. This volume contains the destroy of the Zabuza arc and the commence of the Chunin Exams arc. And let me say, what a procedure to raze Naruto’s first arc. It had me in tears. One of the most touching scenes I’ve ever seen in an anime. If you liked Volume One, you’ll Like Volume Two… and enjoy me, you’ll be itching for more.

Naruto Uncut Boxed Plot Volume 2 is one of the best DVD purchases I’ve made. The series teaches a lot of life lessons for children and adults and the substance of the program is great more than you would initially examine. It teaches one to never give in even when the odds are against you- a very excellent life lesson. Naruto is one of the best anime series’ ever created besides Dragon Ball Z which is my all time accepted. It has titanic character depth & quality, awesome animation and story storylines, battles and dialogue. But this judgment cannot be reached by objective veiwing these first two DVD sets. Leer the series for yourself and you will fleet become a beleiver…BELEIVE IT!!!Naruto Uncut Boxed Plot, Volume 2

Customer Reviews:

a great general-purpose lense5
I bought this lens four years ago and have shot around 6,000 photos with it (4000 digital, 2000 35mm). Autofocus is very fast and quiet, which is typical of the Canon USM lenses. I would not recommend a Canon lens that does not have the ultrasonic motor (USM) focusing. Optics are sharp throughout the focusing range.

The lens is fairly heavy and after a few months of use, you will likely find that the weight of the glass is enough to make the lens telescope out when it’s around your neck. If you want a compact lens that will let you take great pictures in a wide range of settings, this is probably the best lens you could get for a Canon camera. If you’re a pro, you’ll probably have a backpack full of lenses and you’re not reading this anyway, so I’m not talking to you. If you want something you can sling over your shoulder and not think about when you take the kids to Disney World, get a cheaper, lighter lens.

The Image Stabilizer (IS) makes the lens a lot more expensive (some lenses are offered with and without it), so you should know what you’re paying for. Some notes about the Image Stabilizer:

- The image stabilizer itself is basically a spinning lens element (piece of glass) that acts as a gyroscope. When the lens moves slightly, such as camera shake caused by your pulse, the gyroscopic element stays put while the other elements move. Because the gyroscopic element is no longer in line with the other elements, it effectively bends the light just enough to compensate for the lens moving.

- Having the IS feature does not mean that you can take crisp photos with a 1/20 sec exposure while jumping on a trampoline. What it means is that you can often get away with not carrying a tripod in normal lighting, and in low light when your photos would be very blurry (assuming you’re not using really fast film), the IS will make the images significantly less blurry. An obvious corollary is that you can avoid using a flash in many situations when a flash is undesirable or prohibited.

- The rule of thumb to get crisp photos without image stabilization is that your shutter speed should not be longer than 1 over your focal length. So if you are taking a picture zoomed in at 135mm, your shutter speed needs to be 1/135 sec or faster, and since no camera I know of has a 1/135 setting, that means going up to 1/160 sec (on cameras with stops in 1/3 increments) or faster. The image stabilizer means that you can go 2 f-stops slower than you normally could using the rule I just explained. So if you’re shooting at 135mm and you have the IS switched on, you can shoot at 1/40 sec instead of 1/160 sec. That means four times as much light goes past the shutter, or that you can get the same quality results with 1/4 of the ambient light you would normally need.

- There are some times when you SHOULD NOT use the IS feature. You should definitely not use it if you are in a car, on a roller coaster, if you are walking, or in any other situation where the camera is moving or vibrating a lot. You will get blurrier than normal images because the gyroscopic element is constantly moving all over the place, trying to prevent the image from moving. Only have IS switched on when you are using the camera in a normal, stationary, handheld manner. You should also not use IS when you are using a tripod, or when you have the camera resting on a vibration-less surface for an image. The reason is that the gyroscopic element will be spinning even though it’s not needed, and while this isn’t really bad, the motion could decrease photo quality (I’ve never noticed this, but this is what Canon claims), and it is unnecessarily using battery power.

- Finally, not all of Canon’s IS lenses use the same IS technology; many of the more expensive and newer lenses are better, but it was hard enough for me to come up with what this lens cost–it’ll be awhile before I can rationalize three times as much for an upgrade.

One last note about third-party lenses, in case you’re thinking about it. I know the price may be compelling but there genuinely does seem to be major quality differences, and while all Canon EOS lenses work will all Canon EOS cameras, no matter how many years apart they are in design, it has happened several times that even the best of the third party lenses (Sigma, some others) do not function properly with new Canon cameras. I happily buy knock-offs with other things, but not with lenses, flashes, or other camera components that actually communicate with my camera.

Excellent Walkabout Lens5
While I considered purchasing a Canon 10D, I also started looking for a good first lens. Most of the reviewers and Canonites on the various forums suggested this lens as a good starting point.

The 28-135mm IS USM Zoom is the one I use all the time now on the Canon 10D, and that will be the case until I get over the sticker shock of the 10D/28–135mm combo and start adding other lenses to my kit.

In the meantime, this lens gets the job done very well. It gives you good range for a variety of of shots, from portraits to telephotos. There is even a macro mode, which gives you the opportunity to do close-ups–not really a true macro, but okay for shots of flowers, your kitty cat’s face, etc. It is the flexibility of this lens that makes it so appealing if all you have is just one lens. And remember that if you mount this lens on a digital camera, like the 10D, the range is actually extended by a factor of 1.6.

The USM focuses fast, and the Image Stabilization (IS) really works. In fact, I’ve been spoiled by it, and IS is now a must for any of the longer lenses I might purchase in the future.

The IS system “locks” on target so that camera shake is eliminated or at least seriously minimized. This means fewer shots ruined by camera shake, and the IS system allows the user to shoot handheld at slower shutter speeds. This isn’t just advertising hype. It works.

The image quality is quite good. I get good color saturation, contrast, and sharpness. After tweaking some shots in Photoshop, I was able to turn out some excellent 13×19 inch prints.

As others have pointed out, if you are just starting out with a Canon DSLR or SLR and want one good general purpose lens, this is it.

As of August 2008 I have sold this lens because I have moved on to Canon “L” glass, but the EF 28-135 is still a great lens to start with if you are just beginning to learn photography.

THE Consumer-Grade Canon Lens to Get5
Dollar-for-dollar, this is the best consumer-grade Canon lens available. The focal-length makes it a great walk-around lens. The onboard Image Stabilization allow for crisp zoom shots without a tripod. If your hands shake a lot, this lens will help overcome that.

On the flip side, I found the Macro option provides a really startling level of detail up close. I also found the combination of the f3.5 and Image Stabilization to be of great use in low-light, indoor shooting where flash is prohibited. It’s a fairly fast-focusing lens, too.

Even though I have upgraded to an L-series lens, the 28-135 is still a personal favorite. Considering it is 1/3 the price of an L-series lens, I cannot find a single fault with it. Anyone looking for a general-purpose lens for under $500 to compliment their Canon Digital Rebel, Rebel XT, 10D or 20D has found it here.

Puffery is expected, acceptable, often clever and silly. But there is a crucial inequity between advertising puffery and flat-out lying. If your standard for choosing movies consists of the request “Is the movie in focus? ” than “Vampire Slayers” makes the prick, otherwise don’t ruin your time and money.

This is a movie about a breakout at a location where they withhold vampires. The movie tells how distinct groups go after and ruin those vampires and how the vampires catch along as well. It was an though-provoking version of the vampire type and ravishing toothsome.

The latest DVD version of the classic Stallone action flick provides several supplemental features, the most well-known being the outstanding commentary by David Morrell who wrote the recent the film is based on. More on that in a moment.

Buy,Download, Or Stream First Blood! Click Here

First Blood is about a Vietnam vet named John Rambo who comes to a diminutive Washington place town (actually British Columbia) to derive the last surviving comrade from his elite Green Beret unit. When he discovers that he too is unimaginative, Rambo makes his arrangement into town for a bite to eat and instead winds up being arrested by the hick local sheriff (Brian Dennehy) . While in custody, Rambo is abused by the locals but manages to rush sparking an all out manhunt.

This film has 55 minutes of action out of 96 total highlighted by the jail flee and subsequent breeze. Jack Starrett is mammoth as the cop that does most of the abusing while Davis Caruso is gorgeous as the only deputy (among the surprisingly titanic local force) that seems to have a conscience. Dennehy is gracious as always and makes a helpful opponent for Rambo. Richard Crenna is tremendous as Rambo’s stale CO and he and Dennehy play off one another quite well. Even though he has little speaking parts, this is probably one of Stallone’s best performances highlighted by the “Vietnam speech” reach the destroy of the film.

Buy,Download, Or Stream First Blood! Click Here

The film is presented in digitally remastered widescreen 16:9, and is without a doubt the best video presentation of First Blood to date. The movie was shot in the temperate rain forest of BC and is quite sad at times. However, the darkest scenes have been enhanced here and are great improved over the various VHS versions some of which are bad. Sound is Dolby 2.0 only but not awful considering. Also included are a cute trivia game (gain all 10 legal without a mistake to perceive a Rambo cartoon), production notes, and a teaser and trailer. The “featurette” is nothing more than a glorified trailer.

Now on to the best feature of this DVD, one that is worth the ticket of admission all by itself. If you are at all alive to in how films are made and the tedious the scenes tidbits about Hollywood, then Hasten do not scramble (or let your fingers do the walking online) to your local video store and accumulate this disc. Why? For the outstanding commentary of writer David Morrell. This talented man begins to verbalize before the opening credits and does not halt for 96 minutes. When he does you will wish he could have continued for 96 more. You will fetch yourself listening again and again and picking up something unique each time. This is without a doubt far and away the best commentary on any DVD.

Here is unbiased a partial list of the things Morrell covers:

1.The many differences between his modern and the film-very intriguing stuff.

2.His experience when seeing First Blood the very first time.

3.The three act structure of films.

4.How he chose the name Rambo and other character names.

5.How First Blood site a number of precedents for the industry.

6.Why films were kept to 90 minutes in length for so long a time.

7.A touching fable about his son and Stallone.

8.The yarn of how Kirk Douglas was scheduled to play Troutman and why Richard Crenna ended up with the role.

And that is only scratching the surface.

In conclusion, First Blood was a precedent setting film featuring top-flight actors and some of the best believable mask action. The improbable commentary of David Morrell caps off a colossal experience.

NOTE***

This review was first written in 2001. There are now several DVD versions of the film available. Check the special features carefully as the David Morrell commentary DOES NOT appear on all. It IS NOT included on the latest “Ultimate Edition” DVD. There is a commentary by Stallone instead as well as some other novel features. I rob the “Special Edition” version but you may want both if you are a fan.

I was fortunate to ogle this on the large hide and have to say it is not only one of my fav.Stallone films but one of my fav.films for all time. We all know the memoir of Rambo so I unprejudiced want to point out why this film is so classic. The script and music are capable and even the supporting actors have tall lines(BUT WILL!! I HAVE TO BE AT THE DRUG STORE TOMORROW MORNING) Stallone has oh I’d say 30 lines of dialog in the whole movie

and yet it is one of his best. Action stars like Stallone don’t need dialog

they fair need to kick butt and that is what this movie does.

RAMBO:Is there someplace to eat around here?

WILL:There is a diner 15 miles down the road.

RAMBO:Is there something evil with me eating here?

WILL:Yeah me.

RAMBO:Why you pushing me?

WILL:–”WHAT?!”

RAMBO:Why you pushing me I did nothing to you.

DEPUTY:Rambo…John J. Your going to talk to me. I Verbalize TO GOD YOUR GOING TO TALK TO ME SOLDIER! I’m beginning to disfavor you(puts billy club underneath Rambo’s chin) A LOT!!!

WILL:This guy comes walking in with all this edifying advice about how we can

save our skins. Well we saved our skins colonel and the best man lost..AND HE DOESN’T LIKE IT!!!

WILL:C’mon Steve achieve the magazine away will ya.

Customer Reviews:

Superb Outdoor Speakers5
I did some research before purchasing these speakers, mostly through reading other’s reviews of these and other outdoor speakers on Amazon and other forums. I have to admit a bit of a bias toward BA speakers, as I have several types scattered around my house. I tend to like their presence and even nature, even though the bookshelf and ceiling speakers tend to be a bit light in the bottom end (which is expected anyway).

These speakers primarily serve a 20′x20′ patio and a larger back yard behind it. For the past few years, I’ve used a pair of Niles OS-6 outdoor speakers. Niles has always gotten great reviews for their outdoor speakers, but I find them to emphasize the midrange too much without a lot of bottom end. To me, they have always sounded muddy and “boomy”, and the high end does not project enough out into the yard. While I’ve read that the newer OS series is an improvement, I’m hesitant to spend the money there, as they don’t seem to suit my ear.

Among the BA outdoor speakers, the Voyager 7 seems to be the gold standard, with a lot of presence and resounding bass. I was not interested in spending the money on the 7’s, so I gave the 6’s a shot without hearing them and reading only one review specifically about them. I first connected to my basement system to give an initial listen, and was very impressed by their omnipresent sound; they project very well, but almost in an unnatural way inside a closed space. What I mean by that is that the imaging is very wide, with an almost 3-D spatial effect. I don’t normally expect such a wide image, particularly with music, and so I was thrown off a bit, despite having read about this characteristic in the review. Nonetheless, the Voyagers have a rich a full tone, covering a broad frequency spectrum.

It is outdoors that these speakers absolutely shine! The wide imaging just explodes outside, sending quality sound everywhere. These speakers project very well. I was afraid of a weak bottom end, mostly due to favorable reviews of the Voyager 7’s implying they were the only Voyager speakers to provide bass. I am happy to report that the 6’s have great bass. Even my wife, who does not pay too much attention to the audio in our house, commented about what an improvement the BA’s are over the Niles speakers. They are used exclusively for music, covering a variety of styles including jazz, rock, pop, flamenco, classical and oldies.

Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. The speakers are full and rich, cover a great frequency spectrum, and have great dynamics, imaging and presence. The music is lively but not artificially emphasized. I would recommend them to anyone.

Amazing Sound5
I bought these after hearing a smaller Voyager version (voyager 4 I think) at Circuit City. As usual I didn’t buy them from CC and continued my research online for better pricing. When I saw the 7’s for under $200 (scratch and dent or return?) I jumped on it. I’ve had the speakers installed under the eave of my back deck for about a year now. Fantastic sound! These are some of the best speakers, indoor or out, that I have ever heard. If you can find the same deal as me go for it. I have no idea why they were so inexpensive, they were in perfect condition in the proper packaging, etc.

Joe Hardy is a fanatic, middle-aged Washington Senators baseball fan who makes a pact with the devil. In exchange for his soul (although there is a tiny hasten clause) . he’ll become a 22-year-old savior of the Senators, the greatest long ball hitter in history, and he’ll lead the team to a pennant. Later, young Hardy shows signs of yearning for the wife he left unhurried, so the Devil sends in Lola, his vamp supreme. But thanks to Joe’s integrity, the speed clause, and after a number of song and dance numbers, things are set proper for both Joe and the Senators.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Damn Yankees! Click Here

The movie is an almost real replica of the 1956 Broadway hit. Tab Hunter moved in as the young Joe, but everyone else reprised their stage roles — and that’s the reason to view or bewitch the DVD. Ray Walston plays Applegate, the devil, with barely contained glee. He’s sly, unethical, untrustworthy and very amusing. Best of all Gwen Verdon plays Lola, and she hits a home hasten with every number. She was a astronomical dancer and a magnetic stage presence. I saw her do her stuff on stage once and it’s a grand memory. She had her stout crash in Can Can in 1954, then starred in three more shows during the Fifties. She won a Tony for each. She married Bob Fosse, retired, had a daughter, divorced Fosse. In 1966 she starred in Sweet Charity. And at 50, in 1975, she starred in Chicago. Bear me, she hadn’t lost a thing. She was not the starlet type. She had a grainy, slightly smoky swear, and a personality that could range from gamin to raunchy. She could bring innocence to the most suggestive lyrics. As you can inform, I’m a fan.

The obtain for Damn Yankees is, in my idea, better than average but not a classic. It includes “Whatever Lola Wants,” “Two Lost Souls” and “Heart.” Fosse did the choreography and dances with Verdon in one number, “Who’s Got the Distress.” It’s a clever, quickly routine and is a tremendous showcase for them both.

When Warners brought Adler and Ross’s “Pajama Game” and “Damn Yankees” to the veil, they invent a wise choice: they brought most of the shows’ current Broadway casts with them, substituting unbiased two photogenic major studio contract players (Doris Day for Janis Paige in “Game” and Tab Hunter for Stephen Douglass in “Yankees”) in leading roles. In Day’s case it was probably an improvement; Hunter’s not gargantuan but he’s no embarrassment. Stanley Donen (on loan from MGM? ) teamed up with the expansive stage director George Abbott for the films, and (thankfully!) Bob Fosse restaged his modern dance numbers. Naturally there had to be some cuts - risque material (”The Game” in “Yankees”, “Reflect of the Time I Assign” in “Pajama”) was excised - and the shows were tightened. But the spirits of the current shows were better captured than in most Hollywood transfers. The fresh DVD of “Yankees” arrived today and it’s regrettable that there are no bonuses and there’s no stereo track (unlike MGM and Fox, Warners apparently didn’t have great in multichannel recording at the time) . But the exhibit, though a exiguous dated, is level-headed enormous fun. Anyone who knows Ray Walston merely from “My Well-liked Martian” is due for a special treat. Vernon, whose Hollywood career during her musical prime was far too brief, is ALWAYS a treat, and Lola was one of her signature roles. The Warnercolor transfer looks sparkling advantageous for a film nearly 50 years musty. I remember Warnercolor veering a small to the dusky side of the color palette but that seems to have been compensated for here.

Very, Very Fine pair of binoculars5
This is absolutely the best pair of binoculars I have owned. The close focusing is great and the zoom stays in focus throughout the range. I highly recommend these binoculars to anyone.

Pentax UCF II Binocular5
I purchased a second for my wife. It has a great light gathering capability and the zoom works well. We use them for college football and to take on trips. They have been durable and tolerant of some moisture (would not call them waterproof). I believe they are a great value for a compact binocular.

Awesome.5
This is probably the best inexpensive zoom binocular. I have tried Barska, Nikon Eagleview & Travelite, and other zoom binoculars that cost four times as much, and this one is just on a different level for a lot less money. It is a lot smaller than it looks in the picture and comes with a great leather case. The binocular is very clear, sharp and easy to focus. It appears to be very durable as well.

Rescue Me is a titanic demonstrate - the ensemble cast is reliable, there’s a sizable combination of comedy and drama and although some situations dabble in the absurd, there are also serious issues that are dealt with in a extinct and adult light. I have no problems with the indicate, it’s a 5 star program.

But I do have a predicament with GREED.

This season started slow so they could bustle all 23 episodes during consecutive weeks. The last episode is airing in three days - the same day this status is being released - but has obviously been in the can along with the other 21 for several weeks if not months. SO WHY SPLIT THIS SEASON INTO TWO PARTS??

Greed.

FIFTY DOLLAR LIST Effect for eleven episodes?? Assuming Volume 2 does the same for the final 11, that’s ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS for a season! Now we all know there will be discounts (as I type this Amazon is selling it for $32) but that’s calm OVER SIXTY DOLLARS to win the fifth season.

I understand that past seasons contained 13 episodes and this one is 22. But would it really have been that distinguished more expensive to add two discs and bump the designate a runt…instead of creating separate packaging - and passing THAT cost along - and gouging Us? The very people who back the expose by purchasing something they already watched faithfully?

The 22 episodes were a complete season. The marketing is a complete sham.

Denis Leary’s enflamed Fresh York city firefighter Tommy Gavin is support. I score Tommy Gavin an curious character but at times it is frustrating that nothing of Denis Leary the stand-up funny with the zingers at the ready and the educated man (MFA from Emerson college) shows through. I tell this shows Leary’s commitment to Gavin as a character.

Perhaps more than any other factor, what shows in this season is Gavin as a substance abuser, an alcoholic. He is in AA and he is out of AA. He fights with the priest constantly about their problems with alcohol. The other firemen initiate a bar and he gets enthusiastic with it and drinking there. His girlfriend allows him to drink but his wife does not. An unrecognizable Michael J. Fox does a shining job of playing Gavin’s wife’s recent boyfriend who is wheelchair trail. He and Gavin briefly bond as maimed characters on impartial about every level, including substance abuse. It’s hard to upstage Leary but Fox manages it. I was dim that Fox did not become a permanent character on the series but I thunder he was not enthusiastic in doing tv long term. Maybe they can bring him support next season for a few episodes as well since he was not killed off.

Gavin the firefighter is also on distinguished prove in this season. Perhaps his inability to conquer his inner demons is what makes him courage personified with rescuing people in burning buildings. He can even cope with burned bodies which other firemen can’t face without becoming ill.

The least satisfying aspect of this series is Gavin’s continuing problems with his girlfriend and his wife and the other few women who briefly alight in his life. I can’t stand either the wife or the girlfriend as characters and would be pleased if somehow they were eliminated from this series. I wish they would bring attend Tatum O’Neal more, Gavin’s sister. At least she was a female character with whom we could keep interest.

Of the other firefighters, Sean is the most curious one in this season because he gets cancer (probably from 9/11 exposure) but must collect surgery on the sly because he wants to remain in the fire department as a fighting fireman. We also scrutinize that Sean can Assert in some very imaginative dream sequences while he is unconscious. Kenny wants to marry a prostitute and the Chief is married to a promiscuous woman he brought over from Russia. This seems very curious to me and I have no belief if this bears any relationship to what choices loyal firefighters would form as to women to marry. That they are able to convince themselves that they can reform these women is sunless comedy.

Cliff (played by the behind Andre Sterling) has unbiased turned 18. Shining, younger, Ritalin-popping sister Cookie (Haylee Wanstall) gives him a ample push to go out into the ample city (Toronto) to come by sex. Emerging from the subway and riding his unique skateboard, Cliff scoots off to a hustling district and catches the explore of one of the pros, Butch (Brendan Fehr), a drug-taker. Virgin Cliff decides almost immediately that he wants a relationship with Butch and even brings him home after the first night’s encounter. The relationship has its ups and downs, but the audience gets to scrutinize Butch (and, to a lesser extent, Cliff) operate in the hustler world at a benignly kinky, more-than-vanilla, level but at less than the heights of depravity shown in “Mandragora.” The two have a expedient chemistry, especially in the (shortened from the VHS version) breakfast and photo-discussing scenes. Cliff wants romance, not hustling; Butch has some ambivalence toward Cliff. The state moves toward an inevitable result, followed by a twist at the ruin that shows where Cliff really is.

Cliff and Butch reveal proper skin and are both honorable lookers. There are four hustler characters who present more. It all seems realistic and fairly presented.

I found the hustling side-stories the most intelligent fragment of the movie. Butch, Cliff, and Cookie are the most memorably acted characters. The main esteem tale seemed rushed at the beginning. Although I would have liked a limited more on Cliff’s motivation, one can invent enough sense of it all. The initial scenes feel too formulaic; the viewer impartial has to last past them.

“Sugar” is an bright, offbeat film despite some soft spots. There are no extras at all. Crude 4 rating.

The current tragic death of actor Andre Ample leaves a void that cannot be replaced. But thankfully he has left his effect in this beautifully directed film. Sugar reminds me of “My private Idaho” in terms of directing and mood. While the frail film had River Phoenix, who made the film so sexy, this film has Andre Suited. Genuine had an acting style that revealed passion and emotion with a sexual edge. Playing an 18 year stale overjoyed teen who is anxious to have his first sexual encounter, he falls for Butch, a satisfied street hustler(played well by Brendan Fehr) . But this is clearly Noble’s film. His heart breaking performance is so exact and tantalizing, and he seemed so destined for dapper stardom. Attractive eyes, ravishing hair and a smile that would fracture a million hearts, his death leaves the film industry without his raw talent and that is a shame. I would rate this film as an indie classic. It really hit home for me. I hope straight viewers sustain an start mind while viewing as Andre truly gives a performance worth seeing again and again.
